Have you ever worked with model kits? What a great way to focus on something and see wonderful results. If your kids are driving you crazy, bouncing around the house all summer, sit them down outside on at a little table and hand them a model Wood WorX Race Car Kit. They can put their minds to something and stay out of your hair for a while.

Working with models and such, your children will learn how to read and follow directions. They will learn to comprehend what the instructions are telling them to do, and it helps develop their hand-eye coordination.

Once they are done building their racecars, give them the task of making a racetrack out of whatever materials you have for them and let them race their model cars that they built. This project will again, keep them busy and occupied, giving you ample time to devise another project to keep their little hyper bodies focused!
