Remember the days of cowboys and Indians? Running around the yard with sticks, pretending you were riding a horse, screaming and hollering with your buddies. Perhaps some of you at one point upgraded to the stick with the horse head at one end. You know the kind. You would hold on to it while you galloped your little heart out around the neighborhood. The horse head-stick wasn’t all that bad, but how great would it have been to have a rocking horse? How about the Palomino Rocking Horse? This snazzy rocking horse is built for comfort and ease while the little ones rock away in their enticing adventures. Made of plush, this horsy will go all day long with the young rider so chooses. And for the girls, if this doesn’t tickle your fancy, try Pinkerbelle! This pink beauty has a luxurious mane and even comes with a saddle, stirrups, and bridle. Send them galloping on a racetrack or running with team of horses. Let their imaginations run wild! Labels: pretend-play, rocking-horses, toys

It is agreeable that children need designated areas to do artwork, read, or just a place for snack time. When children have a spot they know they can call their own, not only do they feel more important by having a spot that is theirs, they will be less apt to make a mess all over your house. The Kids Klick Desk, for starters, is a perfect choice for a first desk. This little item has a bench that neatly fits underneath the desk when it is not in use. The bench comes with a padded seat, and is comfortable enough to sit for hours and work on puzzles, reading, or artwork. You have your options of red, green, and orange. The Klick Desk is great for children ages 3-6. Another option that would be fantastic is the Guidecraft Natural Roll Top Desk for Children. It is inspirational to children because it reminds them of a desk grownups would use. And whether it provokes creative thought to play Mr. Executive, or to do homework, your child will love feeling all grownup with this desk that looks all grownup. Assign an area that is just for your children. They will make them feel significant by having a place in that big house that they can call their own. Labels: childrens-furniture, KidKraft, kids-desk

You have a certain love for the theater and a huge appreciation for the characters and storyline. Ever since you were little, you loved pretending you were an actor on the stage, performing in front of thousands only to receive a standing-ovation at the end. Those hungry little minds would be equally fascinated with the Guidecraft Center Stage Floor Puppet Theater. This tip-protected stand comes with curtains you can draw open or leave closed. The front is a chalkboard that can be drawn on using chalk. This cute little theater can easily fold up and be stored away when those little rascals are on to other things for the day. Your little ones will love creating shows and then performing them for you. So sit back and watch the show unfold from your little darlings. Labels: guidecraft, pretend-play, puppet-theatre

Lets face it, kids are mesmerized by trains. They can sit and watch them for hours with no variation in direction or change. And yet, they will focus on them for as long as you let them! This KidKraft Train Table comes with three bins for storing items and 120 pieces to fulfill your child’s train collection. Let them set up their little town how they wish. Then let them sit and play. You will have the comfort in knowing that they are safe and preoccupied on something stimulating rather than dulling and useless. Give them something absolutely fascinating to them. Give them a train set! Labels: Eduational-Toy, KidKraft, train-table
